Switch from SiteLink or storEDGE — self-storage migration

Leaving is supposed to be hard. It isn't anymore.

The real lock-in was never the contract — it was the migration. Point StoreKeep at a SiteLink or storEDGE export and an AI-assisted importer maps your units, tenants, leases, ledgers, and gate codes, then hands you a verification report to sign off on before a single row commits.

HOW IT WORKS

The importer is the first magic moment

AI-assisted mapping, not a mapping project

SiteLink and storEDGE exports don’t look like anyone else’s schema — that’s half the moat they enjoy. StoreKeep’s importer reads your export and aligns their fields to units, unit types, tenants, leases, ledgers and balances, gate codes, and delinquency status where present. Ambiguities are surfaced for a human decision, not silently guessed.

  • CSV or backup exports from SiteLink and storEDGE
  • Unit types, street rates, and features mapped to StoreKeep’s model
  • Duplicate tenants detected and flagged for merge

Mapper

214 units matched · 3 ambiguous unit types flagged for your call · 2 probable duplicate tenants queued for review.

A verification report you sign off on

Before anything commits: counts matched, unmatched rows, ambiguous mappings, duplicate tenants — and the one that matters most, balance reconciliation. If the sum of imported ledgers doesn’t equal your source totals, the import blocks until you’ve seen and acknowledged why. Dirty exports are surfaced, never silently dropped.

  • Balance mismatches block commit until acknowledged
  • Partial and dirty rows itemized, not discarded
  • Import runs as tracked, resumable steps — re-running is safe

Verification report

Ledger total: source $48,212 · imported $48,212 ✓ · 6 rows unmatched (itemized) · awaiting your approval to commit.

Delinquencies land mid-sequence, correctly

The scary part of switching is the unit that's 40 days past due. Imported delinquency status flows into StoreKeep’s state-aware engine, so an account mid-lien picks up at the right step with the right computed deadlines — instead of restarting a legal clock or, worse, skipping one.

  • Past-due balances age into the correct delinquency tier on day one
  • Gate codes import so access control doesn’t miss a beat
  • Your lease templates and policies configured alongside the data

After commit

Unit 108: imported 38 days past due → lien workflow opened at the notice step, earliest legal dates computed from your state template.

MORE IN THIS MODULE

Why owners actually leave

No forced processing

Storable bundles merchant processing into its software. StoreKeep’s processing is opt-in, interchange-plus, disclosed — or bring your own.

No SpareFoot dynamic

We will never operate a marketplace that sells your own tenant demand back to you. Your leads are yours.

Your data, exportable

The door swings both ways: your data exports cleanly whenever you want it. Confidence, not captivity.

No per-unit creep

Flat monthly tiers by facility size — $99, $179, $349 — instead of pricing that climbs as you fill units.

Parallel-run friendly

Import, verify, and explore StoreKeep with your real data while your old system still runs. Cut over when you're sure.

Independent, on purpose

Built for 1–3 property owner-operators — the customers the roll-up takes for granted are the only customers we have.

FAQ

Fair questions

Units and unit types, tenants and contact details, leases, ledgers and balances, gate codes, and delinquency status where the export includes it. The verification report shows exactly what matched, what didn’t, and what needs a decision from you.

The import and verification for a typical 200-unit facility is measured in minutes. Your real timeline is however long you want to parallel-run before cutting over — StoreKeep doesn’t rush you, and re-running the import stays safe because it’s idempotent by source IDs.

Balances and billing anchors import; saved payment credentials can’t leave your old processor (that’s their lock-in, and it’s real). StoreKeep’s move-in-style autopay enrollment and the AI tenant desk make re-enrollment as painless as it can honestly be — and the desk can run that outreach for you.

Messy is the normal case. Partial rows and oddities are itemized in the verification report rather than silently dropped, balance mismatches block the commit until acknowledged, and ambiguous mappings wait for your call.

Each property imports independently, so you can migrate one at a time on any plan. Portfolio ($349/mo) adds the per-property dashboards and consolidated reporting that make running several from one seat pleasant.
